Deakin has a deep history forging partnerships with leaders in industry, government, and research to solve problems, share ideas, and inspire work-ready graduates. Solar Recovery Corporation has established a collaborate partnership with Deakin University’s Institute of Frontier Materials and Manufactures in developing a higher value silicon recovered from the SRC technology.

The European Raw Materials Alliance (ERMA) Was announced on 3 September 2020, as part of an action plan on critical raw materials, and the publication of the 2020 list of critical raw materials. The action plan looks at the current and future challenges and proposes actions to reduce Europe's raw materials dependency on third countries, diversifying supply from both primary and secondary sources and improving resource efficiency and circularity while promoting responsible sourcing worldwide.

Engagement and linkage with external partners from industry, government and other organisations is fundamental to our mission. The SRC technology provides high quality recovered raw materials ready for reuse. The SRC vision is to develop an Australian made product, creating Solar PV Panel manufacturing in Australia using high level recovered raw materials from the SRC clean technology.
